How Mojikey Protects Your Privacy
A keyboard can see what you type. That is why Mojikey separates ordinary input from AI. This page describes the product as implemented — not a claim that nothing ever leaves the phone.
Normal typing stays on the device
Ordinary typing and candidate generation are processed primarily on your device. You can type without an account.
AI runs after you tap
Reply for, Super talk, and Hello send the text you entered, selected, or chose from the clipboard, plus tone or persona context, through the Mojikey service at api.mojikey.app to DeepSeek for inference.
The Mojikey server is designed not to retain your AI prompt text or the generated response body. It may keep non-content operational records such as request IDs, token counts, latency, and error or security events.
Clipboard
Mojikey may read the Android clipboard for copy, paste, local clipboard history, and Reply for. History is stored locally. Clipboard text goes online only after you select it and tap an AI action.
What we do not say
We do not claim that AI requests stay 100% on your phone. We do not claim that DeepSeek never processes content — it does, under its own policies, when you use AI. Legal detail lives in the Privacy Policy.
Privacy questions
Is an AI keyboard safe?
It depends on how it handles keystrokes. Mojikey keeps ordinary typing on device and sends text for AI only when you tap an action. You should still avoid putting secrets into AI features.
Does Mojikey send everything I type to AI?
No.
Who runs the model?
Inference for these features is provided by DeepSeek via Mojikey's service.
Can I use the keyboard without AI?
Yes. Typing does not require an account. AI actions do.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: More → Account → Delete Account, or use the account deletion page.
Is there voice or image AI in v1?
No. The first public release does not enable speech-to-text or image recognition.
